Check this page often to find out the latest information regarding SFW related events. Here you will find everything from Group rides, clinics and classes to celebratory events held at the shop, such as wine strolls, beer crawls and kids scavenger hunts. Most events are free of charge. If there are certain requirements, we will do our best to publish the information far in advance. Choose your events and print, copy or send the information. Volunteers Needed - Bear Valley MTB Trail Work Oct. 23 & Oct. 30th
Bear valley is building a lift assisted bike park that’s slated to open summer of 2022. They are seeking trail building volunteers to help finish two gravity runs. Work will consist of smoothing out lines, building features, and cleaning up bench cuts. Complimentary food starts with coffee and snacks that ends will a BBQ lunch. REGISTRATION is at the Bear Valley Ski Area on the designated dates below at 9:30 for waivers, crew assignments and a shuttle to the trail project.
TRAIL WORK will be from 10am to 3pm on Saturday Oct. 23rd, and Saturday Oct. 30th.
ARRIVE PREPARED WITH sturdy shoes, long pants, hat, sunscreen, water, snacks and anything else you may need for the work day.
NOTE - The Bear Valley Trail Stewardship is supporting this Bear Valley Bike Park effort with tool loans, publicity and labor because our goals are similar, “Building trails to enhance the economics in the local area”.

Pleasanton BMX Park
The Pleasanton BMX Park is a fantastic local biking zone for riders of all ages and skill levels. The Park is located next to Shadow Cliffs Recreation Area at 3320 Stanley Blvd. The 3-acre public park is home to all sorts of dirt features, and has amenities like a picnic tables, restroom, and a self-service bike repair station. BMX, Dirt Jumper, and Mountain bikes work best here, and of course, please wear your helmets and safety gear. For more information please contact:
